What could be more fun than writing a broadcast commercial series for local mom-owned and mom-operated party supply store? The concept is simple—three Baton Rouge moms (The Momettes) literally sing the praises of Party Time in music video form. The strategy was to appeal to other moms in the area and make sure that they know that Party Time is the preferred local alternative to national corporate chains. This is the first video in the series featuring parade season. Halloween and Holiday seasons coming soon.
CAPITAL AREA UNITED WAY
Tasked with presenting United Way’s ALICE (Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed) program in an understandable and relatable way to the 850,000 people of Greater Baton Rouge, I chose to describe this experience as an invisible line. Thanks to Darius, Lashawn and their children for sharing their experience, and thanks to my teammates at Red Six Media for producing this so beautifully.
EXXONMOBIL BATON ROUGE
ExxonMobil Baton Rouge has been functioning for over 110 years in the capital city. Building on an established campaign- Energy Goes Far- I was tasked with developing a series of three videos that focused on the positive impact ExxonMobil has made on Baton Rouge through community involvement, educational initiatives, and economic development/job growth. The three videos below demonstrate how to achieve this message implicitly by letting local kids (no actors) talk about their town, their lives, their loves while the spokesperson aligns their optimism with ExxonMobil’s goals.
DOW CHEMICAL SABINE RIVER OPERATIONS
Here’s an example of a recruitment video I wrote for a client that wanted to target recent college graduates that demonstrated empathy for their anxiety and presented a career path with Dow as an option to consider.
Here are three :15 ads I wrote and concepted to promote the Feed Everybody campaign I helped develop for Rotolo’s Pizzeria. These were fun scripts and shoots to work on. After all, who doesn’t like pizza?
